Few days back, i have posted about Russian Youtube clone
Today i see a post in techchurch saying russian government is going to buy the video sharing site for $15 million. I think this should be the first government owned youtube clone site if the deal is made. The site will be run by tax payers money 
Having government control the video site, they will have better control what visitors need to see and what not. How about blocking other video sites ? Few country have already blocked youtube for short time due to inappropriate video uploaded by users to youtube.
